Vassar Bound

I am pleased to announce that Chandler Arney has committed to play and attend  Vassar College in upstate New York.  Chandler has been part of the Coyote program for five years and has improved his game each and every year.  He has been and intregal part of the Coyote program as well as his high school team.  He is one of the top face-off players coming into the 2016 season as well as a scorer.  One of the most impressive traits the Chandler pocesses is his work in the classroom and community.  Listed below are some of his academic/community achivements:

  • Over a 4.0 GPA at Riverwood High School = International Baccalaureate Diploma Candidate
  • National Merit Scholarship High Scorer award for 2014-2015 and 2015 -16
  • AP Scholar with Honor award
  • University of Georgia and State of Georgia Certificate of Merit
  • Principal’s Honor Roll and Academic Excellence Honor Roll each semester at Riverwood
  • National Honors Society
  • National Spanish Honor Society
  • Beta Club
  • AP World Tutor
  • Ronald Mc Donald Teen Council
  • Sunday School Teacher at Holy Spirit for last four years

Chandler through our partnership with Trilogy Lacrosse had the opportunity to attend the ICE (Intensive Club Experience – see video below) program the last two summers.  His hard worked paid off as he will be attending one of the 10 ten liberal arts colleges in the country.
