Bennett Nesbitt commits to Division II Limestone College

Published by:

Atlanta Coyote and George Walton High School Midfielder Bennett Nesbitt has committed to play lacrosse at Limestone College in Gaffney, South Carolina.  Limestone College is a perienall power in the Division II college landscape having won National Championships in 2000, 2002 and 2014.

Limestone, Head Coach JB Clarke will be getting a very good versital midfielder in Bennett.    “Bennett is one of the fastest players I have coached and his raw athleticsim is un-matched.  He is what every coach is looking for.  A midfielder that can play defense and run by his defender to draw a slide.  Bennett always improved each and every game and I look forward to seeing what he will do at the next level.  He is hard nosed gifted athlete and the ultimate team player and one of the nicest young men I have been around”.  According to his club lacrosse coach Lou Corsetti.

Thomas Welsh commits to the College of Idaho

Published by:

Thomas Welsh aka Welshie an attackman from Meridian High School in Boise, Idaho has commited to play at the College of Idaho.  Coach Matt Gier will be getting a very solid attackman who can finish and has a tremendous nose for the ball.  Thomas played for our Coyote program in 2017 and worked for our youth program during the summer.   A very coachable player who I enjoyed being around.  He is a student of the game and US Lacrosse Level 3 coach and a great young man.  I am extremely proud of Thomas and it was a pleasure having the opportunity to coach him for a summer before he returned home to Boise.

Also very cool that a Coyote is going to play as Coyote for his College career.

Good Luck Thomas…Coach Lou

Christian Scott Committs to Berry College

Published by:

Milton High School and Atlanta Coyote defensemen Christian Scott has committed to Berry College.   Christian moved to Atlanta two years ago from Ohio and came out for the Coyotes.  He did a remarkable job for us this summer and showed great skill with good clearing ability.  Berry College Head Coach,  Chris Gilbert will be getting a very harwdorking young man who will help their program.  Christian made the Battle of the Hotbeds All-Star team at the University of Delaware.  He is a good size for a defensemen and as has he continues to fill out I believe he will be a standout defensemen for Berry.  He possesses good take away checks and as a lefty he caused a lot of turnovers for our team this summer.  I look forward to watching Christian excel at the NCAA level especially for a great program like Berry College.

Anthony Tiberia committs to The University of Mary Washington

Published by:

Atlanta Coyote and St. Pius X Defensemen, Anthony Tiberia has committed to The University of Mary Washington.  Anthony has been with the Atlanta Coyotes for the last eight years and has been with our Atlanta Youth Lacrosse and STAR volunteer since he was in 4th grade.  Anthony has been one of the top defenders for the Coyote program over the years and always guards the best attackmen that we play.  He is the type of defender that every attackmen fears because he rarely gets beat.  He is smart and has great feet.  Anthony has played in some of the toughest events in the country and he always excels with his stellar play.

We will miss Anthony a great deal as he was one of the best players I have coached but more importantly a great student and teammate.  He never gets upset and always puts the team first.  I know Anthony will have a great career for the Eagles and Head Coach Delaney is getting a really special player.

Atanta Coyote and Riverwood High School Midfielder Nate Arney has committed to Vassar College in Poughkeepsie New York.  Nate has been with our program for several years and was a solid contributor each and every season.  A Face-Off Specialist that can play defense and put the ball in the net.  He has the ability to dodge and shoot on the run and will continue to excel at the next level.  Nate will be joining his older brother Chandler who will be a junior for the Brewers in 2019.  Nate is also a STAR volunteer at Atlanta Youth Lacrosse and has helped coach and officiate our younger players over the last eight years.  I will miss Nate a great deal as he is one of the hardest working and coachable players I have been around during my coaching career.  I look forward to seeing him play at the next level.
